The Anti-Counterfeit Authority (ACA) has earned double honours at the 7th Africa Public Sector Conference and Awards (APSCA 2026), held in Accra, Ghana, in recognition of its contribution to consumer protection, intellectual property enforcement and public sector leadership.
The Authority was named Anti-Counterfeit Enforcement and Consumer Protection Provider of the Year, recognising its efforts to combat counterfeit trade, protect consumers and safeguard legitimate businesses.
In a second win, ACA Executive Director, Robi M. King’a, PhD, was named Public Sector CEO of the Year, acknowledging his leadership in strengthening enforcement, regulatory effectiveness and strategic partnerships at national and continental levels.
The CEO award was presented by Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh, Head of Civil Service in Ghana, while the Authority's institutional award was presented by H.E. Shem Amadi, High Commissioner of the Republic of Kenya to Ghana.
The double recognition reflects the collective efforts of ACA's Board, management and staff, whose work in enforcement, investigations, prosecutions and public awareness continues to advance the Authority's mandate.
ACA appreciates the continued support of the Government of Kenya, its enforcement and industry partners, and the public in advancing the fight against counterfeiting.
