ACA was represented at the ceremony by Board Chairman Hon. Nelson Gaichuhie, CBS, and Board Member Hon. Neddy Kiptoo, accompanied by the Executive Director, Dr. Robi M. King’a, PhD.
The Performance Contract outlines key targets and deliverables that the Authority is expected to achieve in the 2025/2026 financial year, aligned with its mandate of combating counterfeit trade, protecting intellectual property rights, and safeguarding consumers from substandard and illicit goods.
Through the signing, the Authority has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening enforcement, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and leveraging data-driven and technology-enabled approaches in addressing the evolving threat of counterfeiting.
The Executive Director noted that the Performance Contract provides a structured framework for measuring results and ensuring that the Authority continues to deliver on its mandate effectively.
The ceremony underscores ACA’s continued focus on improving operational efficiency, strengthening compliance mechanisms, and promoting a fair and competitive marketplace that supports legitimate businesses and protects consumers.
