Anti-Counterfeit Authority Board and Management Officially Welcome New Board Chairman

The Anti-Counterfeit Authority has officially welcomed its new Board Chairman, Hon. Nelson Gaichuhie, following his appointment to the position for a period of three years.

The official welcome took place this afternoon during a meeting held at the Authority’s headquarters, bringing together members of the Board and the Management team. The engagement marked the commencement of Hon. Gaichuhie’s tenure and provided an opportunity for leadership interaction, orientation, and alignment on the Authority’s strategic direction.

As part of the visit, Hon. Gaichuhie was taken through a brief guided tour of the ACA premises to familiarize him with the Authority’s operations and working environment. This was followed by a meeting with Board Members at the Executive Director’s Office, where key governance and leadership matters were discussed. The Chairman later held a separate engagement with the Authority’s Top Management, focusing on collaboration, institutional performance, and shared priorities.

Welcoming the Chairman, the Executive Director emphasized the importance of teamwork, leadership, and continuity.

“We are delighted to officially welcome Hon. Nelson Gaichuhie to the Anti-Counterfeit Authority. His appointment comes at an important moment for the organization, and the Board, Management, and staff look forward to working closely with him as we continue to strengthen our systems, enhance collaboration, and deliver on our mandate,” said the Executive Director.

In his remarks, Hon. Gaichuhie expressed appreciation for the warm reception and highlighted the value of collective leadership.

“I am grateful for the warm welcome extended to me by the Board, Management, and staff. I look forward to working together to provide strategic leadership, support the management team, and strengthen the Authority as an institution in line with its mandate and national priorities,” said Hon. Gaichuhie.
