ACA Welcomes New Team of Employees to the Authority

The Authority has announced an addition of 18 more staff members who have joined the Authority this month. The additions include One (1) Director and Two (2) Deputy Directors and Seven (7) Anti-Counterfeit Inspectors among other roles.
The new employees will undergo a four-day induction program at the College of Insurance at South C, Nairobi in line with ACA recruitment policy to acquaint new employees’ with knowledge and culture of the organization.
Speaking at the welcoming function, the Anti-Counterfeit Authority Executive Director Dr. Robi Njoroge told them to conduct their new roles with diligence and honour.
“You are taking on a crucial role in serving this country in combating counterfeiting as well as promoting legitimate trade. This duty is of utmost importance and should not be underestimated. Your presence here is a testament to your exceptional qualities and unwavering commitment to a greater cause beyond yourselves”.
The appointments come as the Authority continues to scale and grow with an additional Regional Office opened in Nyeri early this month to serve the Mount Kenya Region. The Authority has other Regional offices in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Eldoret and in addition, the satellite offices in all Kenya’s major border points and international airports in Eldoret and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The new staff recruitment comes in when the Kenyan government has implemented renewed measures to grow the manufacturing agenda by putting measures to spur innovation and enterprise development for economic development.
” The Authority will continue to hire key staff from across public and private sectors to ramp up government efforts to safeguard and shield innovators from counterfeiting, Intellectual Property (IP) rights infringement and illicit trade”. Dr. Robi added.
