Job Specification

The Legal Officer I is responsible to the Senior Legal Officer and will:-

1. Draw legal documents and opinions;
2. Draft charges;
3. Attend court ;
4. Compile and file court documents;
5. Requisition and receive legal documents;
6. Draw and file pleadings in court;
7. Provide legal advice;
8. Correspond with external lawyers; and
9. Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the management

Person Specifications

For appointment to the grade of a Legal Officer I, a person must have: -

1. Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution.
2. Must be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya in good standing.
3. At least three (3) years working experience in litigation.
4. Demonstrated administrative and professional competence in work performance. and
5. Attended a supervisory course from a recognized institution.

1. Higher Education Loans Board (HELB),

3. Criminal Investigation Department (CID),
4. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and
5. Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
